Home Fire Rekindling Workshops
Join us in our fall workshops as we build on traditional skills while creating stronger community supports for indigenous women and 2SLGBTQ folks. Each workshop is generously supported by the Beaver Hills Biosphere and includes all materials, neccesary tools and a shared meal during the gathering.
Moccassins will be adult sized and made in the Metis style led by Tracey Bradley and Joelle Skinner. They will be yours to take home at the end of the workshops. You must attend both full weekends.
Beginner Tufting will be taught by Carmen Miller and all supplies are provided but it is helpful to have sharp scissors, thimbles and pliers. There will also be a shared meal and time for visiting.
If you have any questions please contact Joelle by email sinewandthread@gmail.com
